About The Founders Ecosystem

Relationships begin before banking.

The community comes first. We’re bringing founders, investors and ecosystem partners together now, while developing a banking experience around the people and relationships behind each business.

Meet the community

Why we’re building this

Connections that work both ways.

An introduction can lead to a client, an investment or a collaboration. A fresh perspective can change how you approach a decision.

That’s why we’re bringing together people at different stages and across different specialties. You can come with something to work through, something to offer—or both.

As we develop banking for companies, funds and ecosystem firms, this community helps us understand what people need from a financial partner.

Make your first connection.

Free to join today. Start with a short introduction, then follow your interests.

  1. Introduce yourself. Start with your name and role. Add your company, a website and your LinkedIn if you’d like.
  2. Share what brings you here. What are you looking for? What would you like to offer? Your profile stays private until you choose to show it to members.
  3. Make a connection. Find a peer group, browse the member directory, or let the team know who you’d like to meet.

The people behind it

Our founding community.

Winnie Lau Switalski founded The Founders Ecosystem to bring community and banking closer together. Our first cohort, the Bank Builders, includes founders, investors and ecosystem partners helping shape that vision.

Their questions, feedback and experience help us decide what to build and where to focus. Bank Builder recognizes an early contribution; everyone is welcome to explore and join the community.

Have an idea we should hear? Tell Winnie what would make the community or banking experience useful to you, or ask about contributing as a Bank Builder.

Before you join

Joining, profiles and privacy.

What does it cost to join?

Community membership is free today. Future pricing hasn’t been decided.

What’s public on my profile?

Nothing until you choose. Profiles start private. If you turn on “Show me in the member directory”, when you join or later on your profile, your profile is shown only to signed-in members, never to people browsing the open web. You can turn it off again at any time.

How do I sign in?

With your email. We send a one-time code to your email, and you enter it to sign in. There’s no password to remember.

How do introductions work?

Tell us what you’re looking for and what you’d like to offer. When there’s someone you should meet, the TFE team suggests an introduction, and it’s made only when both people agree.

Can I change or remove what I share?

Yes. Edit your profile and its directory visibility at any time from your profile page. For help removing your profile, contact TFE at hello@thefoundersecosystem.com.

Does joining open a bank account?

No. Joining creates your community profile. Banking services are in development. The banking preview uses sample records and scripted Fin responses; it does not open accounts or move money.

Can I try Fin now?

Yes. Fin’s banking demo walks through a cash, payment or review question with scripted responses and sample records. Live AI and banking connections are still in development.
